REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Attention Non-Members:
Join now and save! SSA Direct Members and Affiliate Members receive discounted prices for most conference activities. You qualify for member and affiliate pricing if you join the SSA or Affiliate Associations of the SSA. Call the SSA headquarters at 703.575.8000, ext 105 or go to www.selfstorage.org for an application today. Direct Members can register at their special rates by selecting the appropriate category in the drop-down menu on page one of the registration form.
Guest Registration:
Available to Full, Additional Rep and 1 Day Only registrants. Guest Registration includes Breakfast on Thursday and Friday; access to the Trade Show, including Lunch in the exhibit hall, and the Closing General Session.
Trade Show Only Registration:
For those who cannot participate in all of the conference activities, but still want to learn all about the self storage industry, the Trade Show is open to the general public. If you are interested in attending the Trade Show only, you may pre-register by selecting the Trade Show Only category from the drop down list on page one of the registration form. This fee includes Lunch in the exhibit hall and vendor information, but not the Educational Sessions, Concurrent or General Sessions, Roundtable Discussions nor Networking Sessions. Insurance regulations do not permit children under the age of 18 in the trade show hall.
Florida Self Storage Association Members:
SSA offers you a special discounted conference and trade show registration rate for Full, Additional (same company), One-Day Only and Facility Managers Summit registration fees. The special pricing for these registration levels entitles each Florida Self Storage association member to:
Full Registrant - FSSA Member- $399 before April 6, 2012 / $425 after April 6, 2012 (Normally $495 / $525)
- All of the benefits of full registration including the Welcome Reception, all Concurrent Sessions, Roundtable discussions, Hot Coffee/Hot Topics, General Session (Peter Sheahan), Keynote Address (Spencer Kirk), Closing Session (Legal Eagles) and Trade Show.
- Reserve a room at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center (as many rooms/nights as needed- while rooms are available. Call 704-586-2000 today.)
- Attend all of our Networking Breakfasts
- Attend a special meeting of the Florida Self Storage Association from 5:15p-6:30p on Thursday, April 26
- Attend a special Casino Night fundraising event for the FSSA from 7:30p-9:45p on Wednesday, April 25
Additional Registrant (same company) - FSSA Member - $300 before April 6, 2012 / $375 after April 6, 2012 (Normally $350 before April 6, 2012)
- Same benefits as Full Registrant if from the same company and a member of the FSSA
One Day Only Registrant (Thursday April 26 or Friday April 27) - FSSA Member - $250 before April 6, 2012 / $295 after April 6,2012 (Normally $295 / $325)
- Your choice of one of two days, Thursday April 26 or Friday April 27, and all the events of that day with the exception of closed or private meetings
Facility Managers Summit (optional event- additional fee) - FSSA Member- $160 flat cost before or after April 6, 2012 (Normally $179 / $199)
- Facility Managers attend a full day educational session (Thursday April 26, 10a-4:30p), which includes several tracks. Attendees of the Facility Managers Summit also receive passes to the Trade Show and Lunch.
NOTE: Vendors who are not exhibiting may register in the Full Registrant Category ONLY.
SSA Regional Supervision Program:
This exciting program is designed for those who are currently (or aspire to be) overseeing more than one property and management team. The program is delivered by the most experienced management experts and trainers in the industry. It will take place on Wednesday, April 25, 1:30pm until 4:00pm.
Self Storage Economic Summit:
This half-day seminar on Wednesday, April 25, 12:30pm until 4:00pm, will feature experts from banking, lending, brokerage, insurance company/fund management and joint venture backgrounds.
NOTE: Only those registered in the Full, Additional or Day Pass categories are eligible to register for this event.
Facility Managers Summit:
Facility Managers attend a full day educational session (Thursday April 26, 10:00AM-4:30PM), which includes several tracks and passes to the Trade Show and Lunch.
Housing Information:

Payment Information:
You may complete your online registration with one of the following payment methods:
If you are unable to complete your online registration in one session and do not provide credit card payment, you will not be able to re-access your registration form from this screen. You will receive a notice the following business day with a link back to your registration which will allow you to complete it. Incomplete registrations will be deleted 24 hours after the notice has been sent.

Discount Coupons:
Only one coupon may be used per registrant.
Substitution Policy:
If you register and then are unable to attend, you may send someone in your place at no additional charge. Notify the SSA registrar in writing as far in advance of the conference as possible.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations received by April 6, 2012 will be subject to a $50 processing fee per registrant ($20 for guest registrants), with the remainder refunded.
- Cancellations for the One-Day Option will be subject to a $35 processing fee per registrant.
- Cancellations for the Trade Show Only Option will be subject to a $15 processing fee per registrant.
- Cancellations for just the Economic Summit will be subject to a $25 processing fee per registrant.
- Cancellations for the One-Day Option with the Economic Summit will be subject to a $35 processing fee for the One-Day plus a $25 processing fee for the Economic Summit per registrant.
- Cancellations for just the Regional Supervisors Program will be subject to a $25 processing fee per registrant.
No refund will be granted for cancellations faxed or postmarked after April 6, 2012.
